Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at Wellness@PhoenixCare.Health if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Hormone therapy services are self-pay.

This allows for longer visits, a more thoughtful approach, and care that’s actually tailored to you and not rushed or dictated by insurance requirements.

If you’d like, I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, but coverage varies and isn’t guaranteed.

Initial consultations are $325 and follow-up visits are $165.

There’s also a starter package available if you’re just getting started.

Hormone therapy is offered on a self-pay basis, which allows for more time, individualized care, and a more thoughtful approach than traditional models.

That’s a fair question.

These visits are longer, more in-depth, and focused on connecting the dots between symptoms that are often overlooked or dismissed. You’re not just getting a prescription, you’re getting a comprehensive, individualized plan and ongoing support to actually feel better.

For many patients, that level of care is the difference between “managing” symptoms and truly improving.

You’re not alone in that.

Hormones fluctuate a lot during perimenopause, and symptoms don’t always line up neatly with labs. A big part of this work is listening to what your body is telling you, not just what shows up on paper.

At the beginning, we’ll meet a little more frequently to get things dialed in, usually around 4–6 weeks, then again at a few months.

Once you’re feeling more like yourself, most patients are seen every few months for maintenance.

Yes. Telehealth visits are available for patients located in Pennsylvania at the time of their appointment.

A recent physical exam with PCP is strongly recommended and this does not replace your primary care provider.
