Meet our Providers

Kate is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping people feel whole, supported, and truly seen. She believes that physical health and mental health are deeply connected. You can’t have one without the other, and her goal is always to care for the whole person.

Her journey began in Emergency Medicine, where she spent the first 16 years of her career. She was drawn in not by the fast pace, but the opportunity to meet someone on one of the hardest days of their life and make a difference. Later, she was called to Palliative Care, where she emphasized the importance of treating every aspect of a person’s wellbeing - psychological, spiritual, social, and physical. Those experiences shaped the way she practices today: with compassion, curiosity, and a “Patch Adams” philosophy that blends professionalism with heart.

Kate has special interests in supporting neurodivergent individuals, Veterans, and the LGBTQIA+ community. She brings energy and empathy into each visit, meeting people where they are and partnering with them on their journey to wellness.

Outside of her practice, Kate enjoys reading, finds peace at the beach, and devotes time to Blair in Kenya, a project close to her heart where she helps support a medical clinic for a rural elementary school community.

At the end of the day, Kate’s passion is simple: helping people live their best lives.
